Optional Extras Explained

Bolt On Hose Reel

This enables 100 metres of irrigation hose to be rolled up and stored on the irrigator.

Sumpmaster Cam

This part is designed for effluent irrigation and enables the irrigator to run at extremely low pressure.

Twin Front Steer

The twin steer assembly makes the irrigator more stable on rough ground and enabled the irrigator to straddle a furrow. (see fig.1)

Steering Arm

Enables your Standard and VCI Mk1 to be towed. Uses a standard 50mm tow hitch.

11 Metre Boom Extension

This kit is designed to be retro-fitted to a 7 metre Standard irrigator to convert it to an 11 metre boom. This is an extension kit so the irrigator boom can simply be converted back to a 7 metre unit if required.

Effluent Nozzles

Specialised rubber cone nozzles attached to a camlock fitting. The rubber flexes to allow solids to pass through however, if the nozzle does block, the camlock makes it simple to disconnect and clean it out. (see fig. 2)

Maize Extension

You tell us what height you'd like. This extension raises the height of the irrigator arms which is great for clearing high crops such as maize or maybe to clear gates or fences. We custom make this to your requirements.

Heavy Duty Layflat Hose

We supply heavy duty ribbed layflat hose designed specifically for travelling irrigators. We also carry a full range of camlocks and hose clamps in stock. (see fig. 3)

Automatic Shut Off Valve

This valve assembly will shut the water supply to the irrigator off when it has reached the end of the wire rope. Note that a separate control is needed to turn the pump off. (see fig. 4)

Stainless Steel Waterways

Got bad water or aggressive effluent? Convert all the irrigator waterways to stainless steel for long life and trouble free operation.

Extra Galvanised Wire Cable

Extra cable for longer runs. 4mm up to 300 metres (Standard) and 5mm up to 400 metres (VCI).

Automatic Travel Stop

All Vaughan Irrigators are fitted with an Automatic Travel Stop. This stops the irrigator when it travels to the end of the wire rope.
